LIFEGUARD
This position is responsible for the safety and well being of swimmers at the Cheney Municipal Pool. Lifeguards work under the general supervision of the Pool Manager and Head Lifeguard. Duties: Monitor swimmers for safety, assist in daily cleaning, helps with concessions/admission. See job description for complete job duties. 
Applications due March 26, 2023. Must be 15 years of age. CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Training is required, if hired, and will be scheduled for those hired. Lifeguards are required to pay for training and will be reimbursed at the end of the season, if lifeguard remains employed throughout the season.

VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER
POSITION SUMMARY:    
The primary responsibility of the Firefighter is to protect life and property.  This entails responding to fires as well as medical emergencies.  This also includes public relations that educate citizens to the importance of fire safety, medical care, utilizing fire equipment, and routine care as well as maintenance of fire equipment, and facilities.   Firefighters attend regularly scheduled meetings and training, and may be required to deliver training in those areas in which they are knowledgeable.  Firefighters may conduct fire safety presentations to the public.
